Lead Coach - Arrow Management
Coach Doug brings years of dedicated youth archery development experience. His structured approach to training has helped dozens of archers progress from beginners to competitive shooters. He leads the JOAD program, weekly practice sessions, and the popular off-season league.
Coach - Artemis Archery
Coach Maria brings elite international experience to Legacy Archery Club. As a member of the Guatemalan Olympic archery team from 2013 to 2016, she competed at the highest levels of the sport. Her coaching blends world-class technical knowledge with an encouraging, athlete-centered approach.
As part of Legacy Archery Club's youth development mission, active members can sign up for Club coaching blocks led by Coach Doug or Coach Maria. These sessions are part of the Club's charitable programming and are covered by your Club membership.
Focused one-on-one time with a Club coach on technique, form, or mental game. 60 minutes. Included with active membership.
Coached group practice for JOAD members and Club archers. 90 minutes. Drills, scoring rounds, and team mentoring.
Pre-tournament simulation block: scoring under time pressure, mental routine, equipment check. 60 minutes. Available the week before sanctioned events.

Looking for one-on-one private instruction outside of Club programming? Private lessons are arranged directly through Legacy Archery DFW Pro Shop, our home range partner. Coach Doug and Coach Maria both offer private instruction at the shop. Rates, scheduling, and payment are handled by the Pro Shop and are separate from your Club membership.
Legacy Archery Club is a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 33-1571229). Private lessons are commercial services provided by Legacy Archery DFW Pro Shop and the coaches, not by the Club.
